His phone message
He had an answering machine way back when nobody had them. We used to call it just to hear his message: My name is David Misch/I'm with you on the phone/I'm busy or I'm sleeping or I'm simply not at home. Once we were all up late, stupid-high and silly. We called his number to hear it, but *he* answered; we'd woken him up. Uh-oh! we whispered. That's OK, he told us. I'll play it for you. And he did!! He was great to us, David Misch. I've never forgotten him.

"You might think you're dreaming! Then again, you might not..."
This song is funny, sweet, catchy, and a little insulting, an appropriate homage to the city of Somerville. "Where people go to work, and then goooo hoooome!"
